I've been playing the 1956 Gibson ES175 with Great Auntie Lo and am beginning to integrate the resonator into other shows.
There is nothing I enjoy more than getting to work on great instruments with a variety of fine musicians in different venues and there is a lot of that on my calendar for December and early January.
I'm generally in the Portland zone, so you can catch a show with Great Auntie Lo, my new bluesbilly combo, or with pals Spud, Bill and John Browne out at historic Rock Creek Tavern as we fill in for the Phoreheads. Come in to enjoy the roaring fire at my monthly Wednesday night Muddy Rudder show or maybe come down when I"ll be joined by that infamous blazing guitar player himself, Terry Robb, at the end of the month.
There are two Seasonal Soulstice shows designed to let us all indulge in the soul mood of the season. This year's program features Steve Cleveland, poet and pianist/accordionist, with Will Hornyak joining with some stories. https://willhornyak.net

Maybe you'd enjoy quilts, old guitars and old architecture at the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center show, featuring quilts from the Pioneer Museum collection, in Tillamook, OR, Sunday Jan 6. I'll be bringing a couple of my sweetest oldest vintage acoustic guitars and play mostly old music in the old school house to compliment the opening of the show. Then I'm off for So-Cal and some shows with Susie Glaze for a unique show. We'll feature songs from traditional sources and our own contemporary songwriting, which is typically infused with influences from the great American folk songbook - or from living rooms and porches around the country.
